This documentation pack consists of a set of books and a photo CD to help the scale builder. The main difference between the two marques was the engines - the Mk I has the Merlin as used in the Spitfire, Mustang and Mosquitol the Mk. II was instead equipped with the Bristol Hercules radial engine. The three books are:
Aircam Aviation Series No. 12 "Avro Lancaster in Unit Service". This 48 page book contains many black and white photographs and eight pages of colour plates of various Lancaster colour schemes including UK, Canadian, French, Agentinian and Egyptian markings. The back three pages document upper and lower paint schemes.
Profile Publications Series No. 65 "The Avro Lancaster I". This 16 page book contains two pages of colour plates and a double-page 3-view of LM220 (WS/Y) as well as providing a number of black and white photos and a brief history of the type.
